Beaver Scouts are young people aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest section in the Scouting family.
Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others. At least once a year we organise a sleep-over at our hall. We are really lucky to have a field at the back of our hall, and this year we hope to camp over night in it. Often, this is the first time our young members have spent a night away from home and we are well use to this.
1st Sutton-at-Hone Beaver Colony meet in our hall in Sutton-at-Hone (behind the Parish Room) on a Monday (term time) between 6.00 and 7.30 pm.
We always have a waiting list of young people wanting to join us, so if you are interested, the earliest you put your child\'s name down the better.
